The Penguin Chopper was sitting beside a corporate sponsored NASCAR vehicle during this customer-appreciation event. The Chopper also made the rounds about the local area for some not-so-common sales calls. The “Dryvit Chopper Tour” event was part of a “Customer Appreciation Day”, a Thank You for the Building Specialties loyal customers.  Suppliers participating included USG and Panel Rey drywall, Clark and Dietrich metal products, Plastic Components vinyl trim, Demand Products and Tools for Trade tools, and, of course, Dryvit.  The day was very hot so a large tent was brought in for the chopper and vendor table displays.     Turnout was good, with over two hundred-plus lunches being served by Hurb’s World Famous Burgers, a local biker hangout. An Outsulation training class was also held in the morning for three local contractors.

Jim Pruchnowski, Center Manager, held down dunking booth duty and most customers took a turn. This area has a very strong baseball following, and Jim spent as much time in the tank as he did out.	The event was catered by Hurb’s World Famous Burgers, a local biker hangout.
